Monday: Students will be watching "Forget Me Not", the story of Anne Frank.
Tuesday: Students will finish the video. An essay question will be given to students over the movie.
Wednesday: Students will type their last paper of the year!!!! Whohooo!!!!!
Thursday: This will be the final day for students to type their paper. Papers will be due at the end of the hour.
Friday: Memoir writing assignment.
This week,we will be going to the computer lab and begin typing the final draft. The computer lab has been reserved for two days which allows plenty of time for all students to finish. Papers will be due on Thursday, May 26, at the end of class.
Stuco is having a fund drive for the victims of the Joplin tornado. If you would like to donate, please make your check out to American Red Cross. Students will be allowed to pay money ($1) and listen to their Ipod/ Mp3 player during lunch.

I would like to thank all parents for such a great year. This was a great bunch of kids!!!! Being new to Cherokee, I was a little apprehensive about how the year would progress. We have such great kids here, and the parents are the reason for the success. Keep up the good work!
If any parents are interested in helping out with the 8th grade party, please contact me! We are going to need help with chaperones desperately! I hope some of you can attend this.
